Homosuperiorr

Homosuperiorr is a collage and video artist originally from South Florida. Drawing on their multiracial, queer, and genderfluid experiences, their work deconstructs cultural narratives underpinning American history, ideology, and identity. In 2015, they received BAs in Creative Writing as well as Humanities from Florida State University. They were a 2018 — 2019 Borscht Corp Film Fellow. Their work has been commissioned by organizations including Fecund Magazine and the Queer Theory Library, and has shown in locations such as Mana Contemporary, Edge Zones Gallery, and Berry Campbell Gallery. In 2024 they had their first solo show. Currently they’re working on ‘Gaybombb!,’ an alternate history collage series depicting the formation and persecution of queer identities in America through comic book imagery. Homosuperiorr lives and works in Brooklyn, New York.

Andrew Freshour

Andrew Freshour is an artist drawn to whimsy, laced with homoeroticism and Anglo-Catholic undertones. His male figures, though scantily clad, are often wearing a cross. His languorous saints know you're looking with unchaste eyes (and like it). Even Andrew's secular figures elect not to hide their "light" under a bushel basket. All of this he achieves through his detailed line work and bright, sweeping watercolors.

DIS.PATER

DIS.PATER is a gay Brooklyn-based multi-disciplinary artist who explores homoeroticism through traditional male figure drawings and his original sci-fantasy comic concept, Gangs of Pluto. Through both analog and digital mediums DIS.PATER features his range in technical training and techniques. The male form begins to experience levels of proportional distortion, angular features, and mild exaggeration that lean into his background as a comic book illustrator. His work is expressed in grey scale graphite renderings and hyper-real digital color where the sci-fantasy nature of his work is further visualized. DIS.PATER has been featured in various editorial and comic book publications including Dark Horse’s new comic series, DAWN RUNNER, Faded Sons, and upcoming features in SMUT Issue #2 and The Brooklyn Rail. He also has upcoming gallery shows and events with Dream Brother Gallery, Maison Ten, and FlameCon.
